Hall
I borrowed a friend's Olympus FE-20 three weeks ago and set out on a learning quest to take and post pics of my guitars. After 3 weeks, I can't even figure out how to use the camera, let alone download and post pics. It seems to be an almost inherent skill with everone else. I realize for certain as of today, I am not going to get this "art" mastered without a knowledgable individual spending a half hour right next to me showing me how to get it done. I've never had any computer training. I am weak. And, now I'm pissed! My guitars are mad at me and making jokes behind my back about my futile efforts. They are plain cruel. Anyway, as I continue the struggle with the infernal Olympus here are just a couple more samples of things lurking around my house as captured by a cheap beanie Logitech cam sitting on top of my monitor fearing for its life and praying for a Skype call or something. krock
The Olympus FE-20 is fairly basic to operate. You've got the on switch on the top. It doesnt have a view finder so you use the screen for that. The W and T buttons to the right of the screen control zoom and I'm guessing you already know that the large button on the top shoots the pic. Usually with this type of camera you can half hold the shoot button down and it will auto focus for you. To view the pics you've taken there is a button above the top right of the screen which when pressed takes you to the pics you've snapped. To transfer the pics to a computer you have 2 options. One would be to take out the memory card and plug that into your computer should you have a port for it. Another option is to use the cable that comes with it. Once its plugged in you should be able to go into my computer if you're using windows and simply drag an drop the images into a folder you've created for them

Rabs
Thanks, Krock. I'm working at it. Steve Once you are done getting them off the camera.. your better off uploading them to http://www.photobucket.com once uploaded to there use the IMG link it gives you in your posts on here.. Gibson only give you like 500k picture space on here.. so its probably yourbest option.. Good luck.
