Iriemon
Limited Edition 2002 Dot, with newly completed overhaul on 2004 Casino Damn that Casino is gorgeous. One of the prettiest axes I've seen. It looks like the color has been lightened. What did you do to overhaul it?

tweed2
I've been buying and selling a lot, this year. I'm back down to 4 Epi's now. In order of most recent purchase: IB Texan 62 Sheraton Reissue,, refurbished, so I took some liberties. Zhangbucker Firebird pickups. Zephyr Blues Deluxe, with Biltoft pickups. Casino, with Lollar P-90s. The entire family gets together. The wife's AJ220S just arrived, but that's hers. I'll let her post it.

Not-Too-Late
The wife's AJ220S just arrived, but that's hers. I'll let her post it. I was thinking of getting an AJ-220S down the road for my wife. She knows a few chords and wanted me to get her an acoustic. How does your wife like it? How is the action etc.? What finish did she get - natural or sunburst? My wife likes the sunburst. Cheers Wayne

It's a new, stamped "used", natural finish. $75 with a gig bag. Can't go wrong at that price. I'll change the strings later today, maybe lower the action just a touch. But they are a good solid top guitar and she likes the fact that it looks a lot like my Texan. Great first guitar. Nice enough to sound and play good, but not too expensive if she loses interest. On second thought, if she gives it up, it'll revert to me.

I like the natural finish myself, but, like I mentioned, the wife likes the sunburst. I kinda figured I might have to do something with the action. I agree, not too expensive if she loses interest, but hey, I figured on playing it anyway.

Epiphone Emperor Swingster Royale white http://www.epiphone....ter-Royale.aspx I'm happy but do believe I'll replace the "stock" saddles with graphtech ones I didn't have a white Epiphone, or one with the "vine" head stock. kidblast
hey! Congrats!! I have one of these too, and I love it. Identical to yours Crust. Huge bang for the buck. I love the pickups, and total dig the in/out phase settings. it IS based on the Joe Pass Emperor II body and neck.
jakabony
My brandy new Epi ES339 P90 Pro. I ordered it from Musician's Friend. Here is my review. The outward appearance is flat out beautiful. The Pelham Blue actually has a silver sparkle to it that you cannot see in the pictures. The fit and finish is good, but not great. It's definitely well worth it for the price, but not as good as a Gibson obviously. The neck is thin and flat. Reminds me of my Lite Ash Tele neck. I love it. The P90's sound GREAT. The neck pickup booms and the bridge pickup has awesome twang. Overall, this guitar plays and sounds great. I feel like this might be the steal of the decade as far as guitars. Hopefully they won't make them for long and they will retain and increase in value.
Lamaar
Emperor Swingster. I put a pick guard on, I think they look way better than without one :-) And I put gretsch style knobs on for that rockabilly look! I'm gonna replace the bigsby b30 with a bigsby b60, I dont like the Chet Atkins wire handle.

Sleeko
Of course! I knew something was different about these. They don't have a pick guard. I need one of those for my playing style. How do y'all like it without? Any problems?
