bonzoboy
I was reading the May issue of Vintage Guitar Mag. last night and was shocked to find out that Rick Huxley, the bass player of The Dave Clark Five passed away way back on Feb. 11.Even though deaths of rock stars from the 60s are usually pretty widely broadcast,I didn't hear a whisper of Rick Huxley's death.Although he was usually in the background and was very self-effacing Rick and Dave Clark formed a formidable rhythm section and put the heavy bottom in songs like "Glad All Over" "Bits and Pieces" "Over and Over""Nineteen Days" and all of their other up-tempo songs. So we have lost another influential rock musician from The British Invasion and almost failed to find out about it,God Bless you Rick Huxley.
