TM
I have a weak spot for the first one on the left ...can easily see myself playing it and having fun Obviously not a 13 fretter, but the pic was taken when I had all those black guitars. The guitar you are referring to is a Nick Lucas deep guitar with A bracing and a circa 1950 neck. There does not appear to have ever been a label inside and there is no FON on the neck block. The pickguard is also Gibson work. It also has a very narrow neck width, maybe 1 9/16.

From your description, it sounds more like a late-60's re-neck than a 1950 neck, although I'm struggling to think what neck at that time was configured for 12-fret application. j45nick
F-25? Both the F-25 and several of the 12-strings in the 60's period were 12-fretters, but none of them featured the narrow-nut neck he has. Of course, Gibson narrowed the neck on my 1948 J-45 when they replaced the fretboard in 1968, so anything is possible.....

It has a tapered head stock hence the c1950 date. The neck width could have been specified by the owner? Hard to say at this point. Great guitar by the way. I will have to get a tracing to make a white guard.
