kapepper
Hi Guys Update here on the topic I started a few weeks ago (the gibson LG that was for sale)... I pulled the trigger and bought it! It appears indeed to be a forties LG 2.... and man, this guitar has been played, and played and played and played... Tons of mojo, but surprisingly no structural issues, of which I was a bit worried (like reparing cracks, neck reset, refretting, in the end costs would go up) Pics!! zombywoof
Nice script logo guitar! But I have a '46 LG-2 so am a bit biased. The tuners on your guitar look to be exact same ones that sombody slapped on my 1950s Silvertone jumbo to replace the original Klusons.
