itssoeasy
ive been on the hunt for a les paul standard and finally found one that i love. problem is i've had a terrible time finding out anything specific on the guitar (color mostly)...i just can't find another one anywhere on line. i was hoping someone could help with identifying it. it's supposedly an 02' les paul standard with burst buckers... here are some photos: any help would be greatly appreciated. the guitar is beautiful.. i guess im just a bit scared..asking price was $1,500.. told me he switched the tuners to sperzel... edited to remove sn
britabe
its not a good idea to show your serial # on the web. counterfieters can use that : / remove that pic and do a serial check w/ gibson would be my advice. seems like natural finishes are rare on LPz but i just dont know

itssoeasy
thanks! i ended up getting it from him. he is an enthusiast so it gave me more confidence in the transaction.. i traded my 2005 sg standard, two electroharmonix effects pedals, and $225. he's also a police officer..haha. the guitar plays like a dream. Silverbursted
A call to Gibson will answer all your questions. I think I'm seeing binding on the body, so it probably is not a relabeled Studio. Looks good, congrats and welcome aboard.
