ozzy1977
Hi I was recently given a FT-147 from around '74, including its hard case. Overall it is in superb condition having not been played in the last 40 years, the frets had turned green these polished up like new, a drop of oil on the board and polish on the body and it is ready to go. The one thing that does need proper attention is the adjustable saddle, the bone/ceramic insert is chipped, is this replaceable with an off the shelf part? I assume its a cheaper copy of a Gibson part.
Versatile
By taking careful measurements and searching online you may be able to obtain a close equivalent.... Or a local guitar shop or guitar technician will probably be able to supply or make a replacement saddle.... Happy Hunting...!! V
