What is Steve Howeplaying?

It looks sort of like a 335, but it seems to have a flat top or is that an illusion. Body also seems small for a 335.

Looks like a custom job to me. Don't know what you'd call it, but based on the 335 with the double pickguard and strange dot markers

Seems to only have a neck pickup, also.

That's an ES Artist, offered by Gibson originally during the 80s. Steve Howe has 3 or 4 of these and were exclusively used on the original Asia albums. The video clip is from their Fantasia Live in Tokyo reunion tour released in 2009.
