dryheat Posted December 10, 2012 Share Posted December 10, 2012 Hey all, I have a pre-owned JB 335 on the way with a long '59 style pick guard like that on my 335 "Fat Neck". I have noticed on on-line pictures of the JB model that some appear to have a post '59 short pick guard and some have the pre-59 long pick guard. Anyone know why Gibson ran them with both and which one is suppose to be "correct" to JB's guitar? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have a new Bonamassa 335 serial no.149 which also has the longer 50's pickguard and wondered why Gibson has released the guitar with two differing pickguards. Anybody shed any light?
