It's been almost 30 years since I had my Stingray. This J.J Scott is a high quality guitar ...and heavy. Does anybody know anything about J.J. Scott? I'd like to find out is he has a web-site or something. I have no idea when it was made......does anyone have any creative alternative method of dating this bass? Thanks for any input.

It's a copy of an old Stingray bass from the early 80's.

I just bought a bass made by J.J.Scott. The story is that he was a Gibson employee and he had a partner based in Korea manufacture it for him. It says " J.J. Scott" on the head stock. Does anybody have any info on this Luthier? Thanks
