Hiya. That's why I was keen to show as much as possible to avoid you getting it and not being happy! Ok, I understand. Take care.

Hi Sam, After closer inspection of the pictures you sent the action does look quite high and what I was looking for originally and happens with bolt on necks. Also, the frets look quite worn on the top part of the neck on E,B,G strings which would mean a refret that is costly. I am going to pass as the cost is just too great with shipping and price you are asking. Thanks again and good luck...

Ha, well it's actually only 6pm, but it seemed like the right thing to say. I have some on the phone so I'll send them now on WeTransfer, then if you want any more that's fine. Speak soon and thanks also. Pleasure to talk with you.

Absolutely and thanks so much for your consideration and hospitality over these communications. Sometimes, I forget the time zone!. When you feel free please send me some of the pics you mention along with a side picture of the fret board and strings so I can gauge the height of the action. That means the most to me at this point. Talk later! email is ajd711@verizon.net

Ok thanks Tony for that. At the end of long day here so can I let it sit for the evening? I won't do anything more on it.
Was there anything you wanted to know about it? I have some more pics of the frets and neck joint if you want.

I know that is over what you regard it as being worth on the market, but I'm in no urgent hurry to sell it and want to know I've got what I can (even though it's not just about the money etc).

Ok Anthony, thanks. I will have to see if the Nottingham chap is still interested - as his was the highest offer, though he has gone kind of quiet. Gosh, so much to think about here. Being up front with you, I am unlikely to let it go for less than £300 because I feel confident that I can achieve that, based on the close of auction, and his offer.

Thanks. It didn't sell as I had put a reserve on it to match the offer or 325. Having a think...
