I have a Gibson ES-335 Figured made in Nashville in 2006. It has a Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish which seems to be quite rare on non-vintage models. I scan the eBay listings every now and then and have never seen another one. I contacted Gibson but they could not provide anything other than it was not a standard color and was not available for special order so it seems a mystery to me. Any idea how this one wound up in this color?
I own a 2006 Nashville built ES-335 Dot in Cherry Sunburst. It has a figured top, back and sides. Any idea how many 335's were produced that year in Cherry Sunburst? In all honesty, I've not seen another.
