Simple question, I seem to recall someone saying that the custom shop can make a discontinued model for you. Is this true and can they also make limited release custom shop guitars?

Hello, new member here.
I like hard rock, metal etc. and thought a flying v with high gain pickups was essential for a guitar collection I'd like to start.
This is my first of hopefully several gibsons and guitars
Gibson Flying V B-2 in Satin Ebony with Seymour Duncan Dirty Fingers pickups.
