[J45 action issues]

Sorry, I’ve been spinning plates but finally getting back to this. I did get an email response from Gibson support, and they recommended I contact the nearest authorized service center. 
l did that today, and after giving them the scoop they advised to just bring the saddle down to where I want the action, and if the strings don’t buzz at the bridge, don’t worry about how little saddle is exposed or break angle. 
I can do this, but my feeling is I’ll have no room for any adjustment in the future and could be looking  at a premature neck reset.

[J45 action issues]

It looks like the guitar was shipped not meeting the factory specs. The warranty card has a 5 L and 3 H , I’m thinking that’s 5/64” at 12th fret under the 6th string and 3/64 under the 1st string. 
with the piezo strip removed from the bottom of the saddle slot , I’m still at 7/64 under both 6th and 1st strings , with the saddle being exposed less than an 1/8”. 
I did check the relief, it’s where it should be at the 7th fret. 
Humidity? I’ve never seen humidity make this kind of change in action, and I have four other acoustic guitars. I have a 30 yr old Larivee that is 5/64 L and 4/64 H at the 12th fret, that’s never had a neck reset. 
I sent Gibson support a message yesterday, will forward photos if needed. I can be patient, I understand everybody is understaffed these days.

I purchased a j45 studio walnut version 5/21.  I’m still trying to get the action down to my liking. I lowered the nut slots , and it plays well at the first position but not up the neck. String height at 12 fret on 6 th string is 10/64”. 
I pulled the peizo pickup strip from the bottom of the saddle slot, and the 6th string is still 8/64” above the 12th fret and the break angle is extremely low. 
I just submitted a message to Gibson support and was wondering if anyone else have had this issue? If so, how did Gibson resolve it?

I just submitted a message to Gibson support. It looks like the action can’t be lowered without shaving the bridge. Totally unacceptable on a new $1,600 guitar.
