Sub-note: I’ve never seen a Greeny ad for an Epiphone, only Gibson 3 versions being flogged, didn’t know it existed till this thread

Hello from St. John, Indiana

 

[Songwriter Standard Rosewood]

I am looking to buy my first acoustic Gibson.   Have a few of the electrics adn also have a IBG Epiphone Hummingbird.  

 

My brother has a standard J45 and a D-28.  He loves the J45 , and is his go too.  

 

I am curious if anyone has any comments or experiences with the non EC songwriter, it is a long ride to find one, so asking for a little information.
