This is my father Charlie age 13 with the Montgomery Ward mandolin, Jackson, KY 1933. His friend has a nice guitar that might be a Gibson L-00 but it has a tailpiece and movable bridge. Is that an "after market" repair or is this a Kay or other brand trying to look like a Gibson. My dad told me he had a friend with a Gibson. He always liked Gibson guitars. By the way the mando is still in the family and very playable.
