What strings work best for a SG? in Gibson USA Posted July 3, 2010 i tried ernie ball strings once and they didn't last long for me either so i went for elixir which was a little bit more expensive but on the other hand, they lasted months after that i got a D'Addario set of strings and they're serving me well until now (they're very affordable, at least here in Brazil)
