  1. I paid $400 for my 1987 Samick Sheraton...very happy with the guitar at that proper and fit price.......agree with Brian over the 5 piece necks which is why I bought an older Sheraton.

    Nice guitar BUT play it back to back with a Gibson 335 (or a Kalamazoo Epi) and it is all about feel and harmonics the mundane vs the superb

    Korean Epi........"tree wood" plastic and OK nice guitar

    Gibson 335......."tone wood" bone etc etc........mighty fine

    your guitar is worth $350-$400 if in nice condition.

  2. @Hecube

    Those upgrades are wild, but the one that intrigues me most is that bridge.

    Where did you get that?

    Was that a straight replacement for the old Samick bridge (all these guitars are Korean) and have that goofy sized bridge....which is the only thing I hate about mine.

    I would like to swap the goofy Samick bridge on mine for a "standard" 335 bridge.

  3. OK, of course, no problem!

    i would to know, if i change the stock mics for gibson classic 57, if the dimensions of the mics are exactly the same, because i want to keep the original covers; brand new gold seems to be too "flashy" for me on a 22 years old guitar;

    thank you to answer

    Sounds like a good call. enjoy the guitar, nice that you want the guitar to sound fresher, but still look its age.

    Throw some photos up if you get a chance.
