Had to have one...love it. Guitar looks, sounds and feels better than most Gibsons I have played.

A lot of Chinese, Korean guitars quality and craftsmanship is getting much better, so if it plays and sounds good, then you got 300 dollars worth and didn't really get totally ripped off. My problem is that they are ripping off Gibson, by putting the Gibson trademark headstock and name on it. And it is not a copy of any Gibson model that i am familiar with, not really close.
If they put there own name on it they might build there own following, too bad, illegal and shortsightedness.
Agree...I have been really enjoying it. Output on the PUs could be more but them again I am used to played hi output after market pickups.

Did a little digging...found out some good info. When the serial number turned up nothing, and the guitar in too good of shape to be anything vintage, I drove by the house where my wife bought it.
Turns out....ITS A KNOCK OFF GIBSON!!! :o
Guess it is buyer beware!!!
I am not feeling to bad...my wife only paid $300 for it. IT plays real well and the finish is nice. Ebony fingerboard is awesome...my 1st one.
Thanks for the trained eye catching this. Most 356s I have seem are up on a wall behind glass...I was simply guessing based on the size and finish.
Guess the old addage holds true...if is too good to be true...it probably isn't.

Umm... I've never see a CS-356 with bound f-holes and narrow horns like that.
could it not be a 356? I picked it up used in a yard sale...price too good to be true...maybe it is.
I am looking into the seriel number now....

2011 traditional...this has what gibson calls a split coil P-90. It can be tapped to knock the output down to sound more strat like.
