All 'Epiphone by Gibson' Sheratons have been made for a short period (~86-89) at Samick, Korea
That I did gather. It's the mysterious "L" after the "S" that throws me. And no, it's not a lefty!

My "Epiphone by Gibson" Sheraton II has "SL" at the beginning of its serial number. Any information about this? Thank you.

My 1986 Sheraton is stock, and I can't see changing a thing except how well I play. For my rock and R&B gigs, it's the first thing I reach for. "Upgraded" pick ups? Not necessary, in my opinion.
