  1. Willi is who told me my guitar is definitly a 1936 Trojan, he corrected me when I asked him what year my J-35 was. Ask me if I was just a bit ectatic?

      Hi Stringalong, I know where you're coming from. Unfortunately or alas, I'm going to hit, hopefully, 72 years shortfully. About now all I play are early hillbilly and country and western, just as I played in the early and mid 1950's.Hope you get this message, as I'm not too much of a computer person! Take care. DJ

      My aunt, who sang C&W with my mom bought a 1937 D-28. She played a Kalamazoo until Mom bought the Trojan...and of course sibling rivalry took over and she bought a more expensive guitar. Later in life she had crippling arthritis and it was painful for her to even look at her Martin because she could no longer play it.
