Here's an excerpt of Steve Howe's "Mood For a Day" on my SJ 200 12 Fret

I think the sound of that 12-fret SJ-200 is interesting as all get-out. Is that also short-scale ? This is one of those guitars that I'd love to spend an afternoon with, thanks for posting 'er up.
Hi,
The scale length is approx. 24 ¾” per this write-up of the very guitar I bought. http://mandoweb.com/Instruments/Gibson-Special+Limited+Edition+SJ-200+12-fret+Acoustic+Gu/1828

Thanks Deluth Dan. Where this guitar really shines is strumming with a pick versus the above finger picking. If you go to the string "Any 12 fret FANS?" in this acoustic forum I posted a video of some general strumming and the sound is really great (in part because my iPhones' microphone likely can record strumming better than finger picking). Thanks again and have a great week.

My take on Mother Nature's Son, with new Martin medium strings. Loving this guitar.

I'm in New England and I've been a Gibson owner for about 48 hours. Just acquired a 12 Fret SJ 200 Custom Shop guitar and I'm in total awe of this thing. I've had my other acoustic guitar (an Ovation elite) for exactly 30 years, and thought was and is a great one. But this SJ just has a more special tone that I really can't explain. And the build quality details...whoa. Flamed maple....whoa.
So, nice to join the club.
Here's a video of it when I first got it home :)

My first day with my first Gibson. Loving it. Sorry for the iPhone (poor) sound quality.
