As others have said there is no "custom shop" per se. Usually it means limited runs with special colours or hardware, etc. Not a lot of added value with the CS designation.

More than likely, these are made in China just as all Epiphones are , but that's not to say that they're bad guitars because they're not. It just means that they're limited editions. It could be limited because of the color more than likely or have Gibson pickups in it. Your best bet is to either try it out, or read the reviews on it. Good luck. Either way, I don't think you'll be disappointed .
Old Rocker 59. I agree with you on the not being disappointed. I just recently bought a Riviera LTD with the gold bigsby and all the bling and on the back of the headstock it says proudly in gold ... Epiphone Custom Shop. It has dog ear P90s . Sounds good plays like a dream and I wanted a Gretsch 5120 but couldn't see that much money in a guitar with me being a at home and church only player so this was a obvious choice and I don't regret it s second

I got the opposite. I got a owners manual a bumper sticker and wrench but no cord. You'd think a guitar costing 564 would at least include a bag or cheap case
