In Maya's Interest Posted May 25, 2013 Share Posted May 25, 2013 Hello Gibson Forum, Does anybody know what adhesive the Gibson USA factory uses to install the pearloid inlays on their (2012) Gibson Les Paul Standard models? I have a lifting inlay and I want to fix it with close to original factory materials. Was it Franklin Titebond that was used during the original inlay process? If so, I figure that applying heat to the inlay should allow it to be lifted out for regluing. Any ancillary advice is welcomed, too.
