Wise Axe Posted June 4, 2013 Share Posted June 4, 2013 I have noticed with the 335s that the reissues (in my experience the '59 and '63s) sound darker than the brighter actual vintage 335s of the same year. I have A/B'd my '66 vs '63 reissue and they sound like two different guitars. My '63 RI was made in Nashville in 2011. It has 57 Classics in it. Why are there such differences? Any ideas welcome.
