Try lifting each string out of the nut, one at a time, and scribbling some pensil lead into the nut slot. That fixes 99% of tuning issues. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jmjohnson Posted August 13, 2013 Share Posted August 13, 2013 Just got an '09 '58 VOS from my B-I-L. The G string would not hold tune. I changed the strings, using the Gibson/Martin locking method, and have had NO issues now. Might it be the stringing method used on yours? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
