lvkjn62
I have a buddy of mine that picked up a Epiphone Hummingbird acoustic guitar. There is a serial number, but it's as though a mistake was made (or a change of some sort) because there is a tag with a number on it taped over the original label. I do not see a city of mfg code in the serial number. In fact, the 9-digit number is preceeded by two Alpha characters: (HS), which I presume designates "Hummingbird" "Sunburst", but this may be incorrect. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Serial is: HS 311566331
russinator
Has anyone ever figured any significance to the digits following the 311?? I picked up an AJ-220S VS with a 311-- s/n and it's a winner!
