renegade87 Posted January 24, 2016 Share Posted January 24, 2016 Hi Guys, So I bought a used black '58 Korina Explorer and I'm cleaning/fixing it up. The guitar was in pretty good shape performance wise, just dirty. The bridge and tailpiece tarnished and pitted etc. So, I saw this new Floyd Rose FRX Tremolo and thought it'd be perfect for my explorer. Has anybody here installed an FRX on their Explorer? If so, how did the install go? I'm particularly interested in whether or not you may have had to modify the pickguard to fit it? It looks like the clearance might be a little tight. Thanks guys.
