Anyway, since then my collection of guitars has grown better than my ability to play So here I am now and Friday night gone I picked up this here Korean made Epiphone SG circa 1997 I know what you are going to say, "geez man. dump the stickers", well I will get to that in a bit so settle down at the back.. infact, she had quite a lot of stickers.. no offence to anyone but i really do have to ask, wtf would you put stickers on a grown ups guitar!.. I am digressing ( as usual eh) and i started to clean Loretta up..yes, Loretta..ok, I'll spell it out for you.. Korea = mash= hotlips= Loretta Switz... Quite a lot of pick marks on the body work, this guitar has seen a lot of action during its lifetime... It is now Sunday, I have clean, oiled and polished and some of the marks I am going to have to live with.. And here we are now, I have done all I can and I am waiting on some new parts. new pick guard, top hats and the wee end of the selector switch which will be a cream/yellow... So off to the guitar shop at some point during this week for a proper set up, string height at the 21st is over 2.5mm and i am thinking it should be 1.3/1.5mm for playability...
