Recording Epi Casino acoustic and Electric

I was wondering if any one had researched how the epi casino's were recorded during the 60s.

For example, how Alan Parsons, Keith Slaughter and Dave Harries recorded the Beatles playing them on various famous Beatles Tracks.

I was wondering what tech they used to record the guitars, whether they DI'ed the guitars, or ambient mic'ed them if they ever wanted to record them with their acoustic tone, either alone or in combination with the DI'ed output.

I also wonder what Microphones were used for this purpose.

I wondered if they split the DI out, so they could record clean as well as Overdriven. And if overdriven / effects.

I wonder what amp/cabs/combi's/effects were used.

Lastly, i was wondering if anyone had published this info in a book? Surely there would be merit in the recording techniques from the Beatles sessions.

Thanks
