booker Posted January 31, 2020 Share Posted January 31, 2020 Hi there, I was wondering if you guys could help me with spotting more precisely the time when Lennon changed Kluson tuners to Grovers. From the pictures available it looks like it must have taken place between March 1969 (Cambridge ’69) and Sept 14/15 (Toronto Festival). Maybe someone can narrow it down to more precise period. The question is whether Lennon Casino saw Grovers during the final Abbey Road sessions or not. If not this would mean that Lennon Casino had Kluson tuners on it till the end of The Beatles and change to Grovers was made only after the final Abbey Road sessions were done. booker Posted February 5, 2020 Author Share Posted February 5, 2020 (edited) It looks like it is tougher issue than I thought. I found one picture of Lennon with his Casino and Grovers on it taken during Abbey Road sessions. This means that Grovers must have been changed probably between July and August 25, 1969.
