Casino with a six digit serial

Hi all, it's a very long time since I've been around here, but I am looking to get back into the world of Epiphone. I've been looking at a Casino in natural finish, with a 17th fret neck join, and a six digit serial number. Various sites suggest that a six digit serial is late 80s Fujigen-made, and the inlay logo looks like Japanese ones of that era,  but the headstock has a pattern of joins which look a bit like a Korean headstock. And there is a post on this site from someone claiming the early Korean ones had six digits - I've not heard that anywhere else though.

Here's the guitar

Thanks for any knowledge you can share!

Cheers, Matt.
