msoulier Posted November 3, 2020 Share Posted November 3, 2020 Hello. The volume pot on my epiphone les Paul went bad so I bought a 500k alpha. I tested it pre install and all seemed good. I took photos before removing the old one. I put in the new one and now the neck pickup provides no sound. The bridge pickup is still ok. As far far as I can tell I did everything correctly but clearly not. No sound suggests a ground short but I can’t find one. Confused and frustrated. Anyone run run into something similar?
