He just finished refurbishing a 1951 Gibson. I can’t seem to find any serials numbers that lead to knowing more. there some numbers on the inside on the base of the neck. 6961 16 After refurbishing the guitar one of the plates holding the strings came unglued. I want to have it fixed up so that it can be pasted on to the more musically gifted grandchildren that follow in his footsteps. I have posted a few photos of the guitar in hopes that someone might be able to help me identify the guitar so that we can continue on the joy that his guitars brought him.
