Flyin Hawaiian Posted January 5, 2023 Share Posted January 5, 2023 Aloha! I found this mystery Gibson speaker cabinet at Goodwill a while back and grabbed it just because it said Gibson on it. Looks to be 2x8” and I couldn’t find any model number on it other than a Made in Canada on the rear jack. Does anyone know anything about this? Is it a fake? Bazzer Posted March 26 Share Posted March 26 Made by Garnet Canada early 80’s in Winnipeg, for Gibson USA they are legit. Loaded w 2 Marsland 8” Spkrs. Garnet entered into a venture building various products for Gibson in the early 80’s, mostly SS amps n cabs. It didn’t last long. I have a pair of these.
