HKC Posted July 15 Share Posted July 15 Hi there I haven't really been impressed with mini humbuckers but..... Yesterday I played an early 70s Deluxe and those pickups gave me something to think about. I have always considered mini humbuckers as hum bucker wannabes but those pickups were very different and actually quite twangy, the most twangy I ever heard on any Gibson. Does anybody know of a company that reproduces these pickups. I have googled a bit and I found out that the ones in Firebird aren't the same as the ones in the Deluxes.
