bassclef Posted February 18, 2010 Share Posted February 18, 2010 Gentlemen, Found an old acoustic. Serial #828357 & no "Made in USA" stamp leads me to think it might be a '66? Soundboard has a long vertical crack midway between the sound hole & side of body, on each side. Player pretty well, looks cool & can pick it up for a good price if it's legit. I think this is one where the folks who would be most likely to be able to answer your question would like to see a pix of the guitar and/or the headstock, sticker and/or serial... It ain't my area of expertise at all. BTW, we also have some ladies who regularly read the forums too... You may also wish to duplicate this Q in the "acoustic" area of the forums. The Lounge gets the most activity, but there are some very, very knowledgeable folks in the more specialized areas of this set of forums. BTW, perhaps the easiest way to get a pix of headstock or whatever into a forum is through using an avatar.
