cwahart
Back when the earth was still cooling I purchased a used ES-335. It had an incredibly long scale...22 frets clear of the body. I have never seen another 335 with a neck like that one. I only had the guitar for a few years and traded it off. Is my memory faulty or was there a special 335 with this neck style? vincentw
It might help to know what the scale actually was.... Incredibly long??

vincentw
The SG scale length is the same as LPs -- 24 3/4". There is, however, easier access to the upper frets on the SG. The 335 is like the SG in that regard.
fishfly
I think that your memory may be faulty. Changing the neck/body position would have changed everything on the guitar. Knowing this one pretty well, don't believe it possible.
