MattJ Posted July 21, 2010 Share Posted July 21, 2010 I am really interested in getting one of the Gibson Custom Mahogany Explorers, especially one in faded cherry, but I've noticed that a lot of retailers have either stopped offering them, or are only offering them in fewer colors. Musicians Friend only has it available in ebony and white. Anybody know if the Custom Shop has officially discontinued this model, or is it just a delay due to the flooding? I sent Gibson an email the other week and they never really gave me a straight answer. Thanks, I'm really hoping to get one of these guitars. - Matt J.
