TommyK Posted August 12, 2010 Share Posted August 12, 2010 I've been watching some of Doc Watson's YouTube performances. One of his flat top boxes shows up regularly. I'm not sure if it's a Mutton or what make it is. However , it apears to have binding between the 1st and 2nd string, then again between the 5th and 6th. Is this a common option? I've never seen it. Could it be a raised area so Doc can use as a landmark to be sure his fingers are on the right string?
