I bought a Joe Pass and it has a B7 Bigsby on it rather than B6. I have read where the extra tension bar can possibly damage the top due to the pressure it exerts. I have also read on some other forums that the B7 will not damage a hollow body. I also noticed that the Washburn J7 has what I believe is a B7 mounted on it (direct from the factory) The B7 seems alright for now on my JP, but I really do not want to tempt fate if it might damage the top.
