Pickguard

I e-mailed Gibson about the product code for my Les Paul Tribute. I had my answer the next day...pretty impressive. The only thing I don't like about my Tribute is no pickguard. Will a pickguard from one of the other Epi Les Pauls fit mine?

Well, if it didn't come with a pickguard stock that must mean that there are no holes drilled for them, right?

If you don't want to drill holes check this out.

If you DO buy a new guard - get one from the member TWANG. He makes them custom and can get many materials. He will also make a matching truss rod cover (the plastic cover on the headstock if you don't know) and switch ring thingy (called the poker chip sometimes if that was a bad description.) He can also get you the mounting stuff. I think all of that would cost ~25 bucks plus shipping.

Does anybody got any good leads for aftermarket or tortoise shell type puck guards? Im working on a Billie Joe custom project.

Puck guards? Like.. for hockey? [biggrin]

Okay really, send a private message to TWANG (here on the forums.) :)
