audiomitch
No chrome covers, but I'm wondering what they sound like. Anybody? http://store.guitarfetish.com/GFS-Alnico-Vintage-Wound-Dogear-Black-Pickup_c_84.html
dougg330
I put GFS Vintage P-90s on my MIC Casino and loved them. Went with the black cover theme and changed the pickguard out for a black/white/back one - ended up with a casino that looked a lot like a Gibson ES-330. (That's my '66 330 in the pic) These pickups sound great. Neck gives a great jazz tone - but the polepieces had to be cranked down somewhat. Bridge pickup added the snarl and aggression the stock PU's didn't have. Very happy with the choice - and for the price, you just can't go wrong. audiomitch
Thanks Doug. I think you're right that it's hard to go wrong with the price. Did they fit the cavities OK, and were there any issues with the height?
