milod Posted September 7, 2010 Share Posted September 7, 2010 I don't care so much for panning drums. OTOH, there have been various bands through the years with more than one percussionist. Still... as with the bass, I tend to like it "middle" on a stereo mix. For what it's worth, given that I easily recall early stereo recordings, I think sometimes we all have a tendency to get too fancy with it.
