efduncan Posted October 13, 2010 Share Posted October 13, 2010 I have ended up with an old Epi in a trade and cannot figure out if it is a solid top or laminate? AJ 15 VS. I checked the S/N and it said it was made on Korea in 1991. I have 3 other solid tops and a 12 string laminate and it's easy to tell looking at the edges of the sound hole. I'm just not sure with my old man eyes about this one. I tweeked the truss rod and put on some new strings and it sounds and plays great. Nut is a little narrow for my fat fingers. Not a lot of info on the net for these. Anyone know about these? Mine is marked "Used" on the back of the head stock and "no factory warranty" over the sound hole label.
