El Facchizmo Posted January 1, 2011 Share Posted January 1, 2011 Hello Everyone! Has anyone ever heard of installing a sidewinder pickup in the bridge position on an EB-0? I have an Epiphone EB-0 and I love the woofy sound the neck pickup offers, but it would be nice to have the flexibility of two pickups. I tried out the EB-3 version (long scale but with the mini hummer in the bridge pos), but found the bridge pup was pretty wimpy compared to the huge sidewinder in the neck pos. I really like the short scale offered by the EB-0, so I was wondering why not just add another sidewinder to it? Seems pretty logical to me, as I'm pretty sure it would be relatively cheap to get another one from Epiphone/Gibson, but would the sheer power of two of these things be way too much to handle?
