m7b5 Posted January 27, 2011 Share Posted January 27, 2011 I just bought a used Herb Ellis ES-165 and was wondering if the pickup comes with adjustable pole pieces. My guitar was just setup with Thomastik-Infeld George Benson Custom Flatwound 12's and I don't feel like unstringing the guitar yet to check if the cover comes off to reveal adjustable pole pieces. Does anyone here know? I would like to tweak the volume of my high E-string as it is probably 75-80% of the volume of my B-string. I don't want the sound to get too bright but I feel the sound is a little unbalanced because of this. Any help is appreciated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
