BSW
Hey all, I just acquired a Gibson ES-135 with classic '57s. The guitar plays and feels stupendously, and looks great. In short, I am in love. I wanted to see if anybody has any experience with changing the pots, and the results? The reason I ask is because I find the guitar is kinda muddy sounding. I contacted the Customer Service at Gibson, and the stock pots are 300K for the volume pots and 500K for the tone pots. Has anyone noticed any great improvement when they've been changed? Thanks!
