Sorry for not having much additional information to provide at this time. We were significantly impacted by the Amazon Cloud outage from the past few days. Beginning Thursday morning around 2:45am CST the Amazon Cloud services in our region went down. Amazon is just now making these resources available to our systems and we are slowly bringing our sites back online. The forums are rather self contained so bringing them up was a quick process. We're currently working on the Gibson.Com website and will continue devoting our attention to bringing up our other sites as Amazon resources continue to come back online. Thank you to everyone for your patience.

As of 3:30am CST we are at the point where a majority of the Gibson websites affected by the Amazon Cloud outage are back online. Please know that we will continue to work through the day to resolve any new issues that may arise. We will also be working on a plan to reduce the impact should another catastrophic Amazon Cloud outage occur in the future. Amazon has built-in measures that are expected to provide multiple levels of redundancy but this past week has proven that they do still have single points of failure that need to be addressed.

 

Thank you again for everyone's patience. We regret the inconvenience that this outage may have caused anyone.
