I play nothing but Gibson guitars, I own a few nice vintage pieces, as well as 2 2003 Brazilian rosewood models (57 and 56 Goldtops). I have been looking at es-335's - both vintage and custom shop models. Does anyone have any experience or opinions about the es-335's that the custom shop made in 1984-1985 ? Quality, sound etc ? Are more current models better ? I know everything varies from guitar to guitar, but in general. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.
